X-Twitter
Create and customize feeds from social platform X on your digital signage
X for digital signage can pull the 10 most recent posts from up to three X accounts. There is a limit of 20mb for video playback, larger videos in posts will not appear. Posts can be organized in your chosen layout and style, including video playback and a call to action.
Where is my content?
When using Screenfeed Social to display Twitter (X) posts, your content is pulled using the Twitter API v2 from your approved account's timeline. The timeline shows your most recent posts in chronological order. Upon adding your account, Screenfeed retrieves up to 10 posts from the past 7 days. This initial pull ensures that your most recent content is displayed.
After the initial pull, Screenfeed continuously checks for new posts and updates your feed with any newly submitted content. If you don't see any content immediately after adding your account, it is likely that you haven't posted anything within the past 7 days, which is the limit for retrieving posts. For example, if your last post was 8 days ago or longer, no content will appear. AP news is used as a mock data source, if your account has no recent posts - your feed will not display AP - this is only for feed configuration.
To avoid confusion, ensure you have recent posts within the last week for the feed to display content.
What you need to get started:
